Good tuner but recording function is not up to competition

The METRONIC HDS1 is a good DTT tuner to pick but a bad DVR. Indeed the PVR function is less than its competitor the CGV Etimo 1T is equipped with the same chipset Alitech 3801.
His only positive point from the GTC is the presence of a digital audio output.

The negatives of the recording function compared to its competitor the CGV DTT receiver Etimo 1T:
- Ability to 8 timers against 16 of the Terms Etimo 1T.
- No timeshift function.
- No possibility of markers in the records.
- Few recording mode in timers that 3 modes (once, daily and monthly). On the CGV there are 5 (once, daily, working days, weekly and monthly)
- No possibility of a recording during playback to make quick jumps configurable in 30 sec, 1-5-10-30 min.
- The unit does not always goes to sleep after recording.

If not here in detail the positive and negative points of the device:

Positives:
- While lon recorded a string, you can view other channels of the same multiplex.
- For SD channels, we can choose the size denregistrement (either MPEG or TS)
- The unit passes the antenna signal when it is in standby
- Classification of channels in order with TF1 HD first.
- Compatible with NTFS and FAT32 HDD.
- Playback of various video formats: AVI, DIVX, XVID, VOB, MKV, MPEG1 MPEG2 TS, M2TS ... but let's be clear on a product sold 39 so do not expect to have the same decoding capabilities a product sold more expensive. The main purpose of this device is to record the HD TNT cheaply.
- Low power consumption, less than one watt in standby and 7 watt operation with a connected USB HDD above.
- Recordings readable on pc.
- Supports self-powered hard drives and power of those good one.
- The records are sorted chronologically in the order (oldest to newest)
- When you have a HDD with multiple partitions, you can choose which we will use for recording.
- No fan, silent product.

Negative points:
- No dafficheur front
- For programming, must specify an end time instead dune end time
- Files denregistrement bucked all 1GB, bucking is clean (no cut during the passage of a file to the other) can merge TS files with the free RecTVEdit software (choosing as recorder CGV Etimo 2T)
- No decoding of DTS Stereo or by bitstream.
- No function goto
- It is not possible to adjust the transparency of the menus.
- No dinterrupteur on / off, only a standby
