The assembling was really easy. Simply insert the stand from below, the screw tighten -> Done. The base is, unlike our large 48 "TV from LG, made of glass, which definitely increases the value. The build quality is quite well done. Of course, the rest is made of plastic, but the feel is good.
[Any problems or successes, which I report below with Zapping, tuning etc, amount to the satellite mode]
After the screen was turned on, it welcomed one using the Setup menu. Wanted satellite and hey presto I had just time to 1300 programs. Well, about 40 of them are interesting in retrospect. After everything was finished installing, I sotierte the transmitter. The type of sorting is well resolved, the response time less so. The TV always reacts slightly sluggish at all. Nungut, I want to watch TV and do not play a game on TV yes. The picture quality is truly exhilarating, especially in HD. Contrasts are well represented and even from SD - signals brings the TV out something else. Then YouTube came (as a video producer on YouTube that was a must for me). Youtube could be set up well, even with your account. HD videos are well reproduced. Especially attractive I find that I can control on my phone the videos on TV with the YouTube app. So in the YouTube app simply connect in the same network with the television and simply select the video on the phone. On television, it will be played. This works very well and reliably.
After a few days Eich studied then two channels. One was definitely saved at number "30". When entering the message, which is not occupied this place was. So the TV has swallowed this station. After I performed a new channel search, these channels reappeared. However, it was repeated again and again this game. In the menu I have now "automatic channel update" off. I hope so that the issue is resolved. Philips seems to offer new firmware to the site regularly, but also the latest firmware has not brought any improvement (from 24.10.12). The problem is known but Philips.
The Zapping work swiftly on this TV, if you're not waiting until the image appears. Since the TV does like to 2-3 seconds.
The connections:
Network: I have connected the TV via LAN cable to my network. Thus, I can order stored there photos, videos or stream music with the TV on files in my phone or PC to access. This works very well.
USB: When a flash drive or a hard drive is connected, automatically appears the folder listing for about 10-20 seconds. Playback of movies works well here very reliable and good. In HD. There are two ports on the side.
3.5 mm jack: An adapter I have connected the TV to my sound system. The volume control for the TV is independent of the sound system. So I can watch the news without sound system just once, even though the plug is inserted. The level on the 3.5 mm jack is always the same and can be controlled via the sound system in hindsight only.
VGA: Works, but VGA is quite outdated. However, DVI and HDMI are compatible.
HDMI: The TV has three ports. Two rear and very relieved at a side which connect the one camera. In the menu this is also referred to as "HDMI Side".
Except for the satellite - connection I've tested so far no further connections.
An interesting feature for some perhaps should be mentioned at the end: If you listen to radio, so you can switch off the panel. How do I find a very good idea as the radio to hear it unnecessary and is wasteful to have turned on the television itself.
This TV is therefore in my view a good buy recommendation
