Good USB 3.0 Docking Station with fast disk installation

The scope of delivery is listed quickly.
The docking station, a USB 3.0 cable and a plug-in power adapter.
A manual or just a quick start guide was not amazingly.
As the product is self-explanatory, but I do not see this as a significant problem.

The AC adapter I find one of the advantages of this device.
It's just around the docking station to provide any of the frequently encountered lumpy rubber connector with power.
This leaves space on the desk and the case is nice and cool.

The second advantage is clearly the Plug & Play.
By screwless design has ruckzuck installed a plate or expanded again.
A little more would stop the sliding cover but already done well, this can be removed with a finger.

On the back there is an on / off switch, which I always welcome. Prima!

In operation, I could not detect any problems.
My Windows 7 recognized the drive directly, without a necessary driver reinstallation.
A green LED on the top left indicates the disk access, a blue LED right above the Power status.
The green LED is with me for whatever reason also the lighting when the power button is off.
Then she pulls well stream in order to "show up" from the USB port.

My system is not yet prepared for UASP, but transfer rates of 140 MB / s at a WD Red 5TB or 285 MB / s with a SSD from Sandisk speak for themselves. So the built-Controller seems to be very good.

The housing itself is nothing more than a plastic bag, a decent noise isolation can not be expected here.
I recommend that you / you to mount on the bottom sponge rubber, this dampen the vibrations of the installed boards a bit.

In sum, I can recommend this dock very.
Especially for tinkerers, hobbyists and service staff it is a quick way to "lose" hard disks and SSD's access.
