After "botched" 2 shallow waterproof cameras (Panasonic FT-1 and FT-2) without making false identifiable manipulation, I got tired and I decided to equip myself a little better APN term for underwater photography. Basically, I chose the Sony RX100 because I knew that there were cases for this device. However, the proposed models were around 400.- to 800.- This case is certainly not the most upscale of what can be found in sealed camera body, but for modest requirements (snorkeling, max 8-10 m depth), the housing filled his role perfectly (and does not fill with water!). And certainly also dive bottles, but that I have not yet verified. After 2 weeks of daily use in the Red Sea, if we find a few flaws, I would mention parasitic reflections sometimes preventing a clear view of the screen of the RX100. It is doing quite well, pushing to the max brightness of the LCD screen. And the inability to operate the zoom ring / selection. Satisfied with this purchase, I am currently assessing the acquisition of a second RX100 (usually found at low prices since between the time-RX100 Mk II and Mk III were released) and a second housing. For my wife and my children with me when snorkeling trips and biting me constantly !!!
