After a week of use on holiday in Cantal, Aveyron and the Aude, it's a real pleasure not to have to think in ragardant map of the route to take, my co-driver is delighted and it avoids some arguments ... The screen is large (16: 9) and good sensitivity with the supplied pen or finger nail, no sensitivity by skin against. Maps are Navtec 2009, with fixed cameras (can manually add radars) and interests that can be defined as the destination (such as service stations what saved me once) possibility again add markers ... I had the case of a recent highway section missing from the mapping so I rolled in a vacuum, but your really need a separate GPS on highway to control its speed? In campaign against it is great, it made me discover roads and rails that I would have never borrowed using my card, all places are called in the box which was very convenient to find the rooms guest and hiking starting points. The device startup is quite slow over 30s, for once against started the calculation and route recalculation is very quick, when leaving the specified route the new route is proposed within 2s new instructions coming! the estimated travel time is right and re-estimated based on the speed if necessary (stop in traffic). The screen brightness is not top in the sun but still legible, the path of the volume is against a fair bit according to ambient noise (music, children ...) but most of the time I cut the sound (it soule) and sailed by throwing an occasional glance at the GPS, large icons indicate the distance between the change of direction ... very handy in the Cantal to anticipate a mountain yaw turn and slow to significantly downgrade.
Considering the price of the GPS, I am very satisfied with my purchase, the proposed route are the same as Google maps or Mappy, so the routing is efficient. Mapping is 2009 but knowing that there are changes signs every day in the big cities no GPS is actually 100% to date. As much buy cheap and when it becomes obsolete redeem expensive as buying an updated mapping that is as expensive to see more than a GPS! Other brands may not have the latest maps ...
