1) To meet Torollo with the French version of Catalyst Control Center:
I have an ASUS EAH-4350 card with the latest drivers available at the time of this writing (v8.751)
The procedure is as follows:
- Open the application CATALYST Control Center (Right click on the desktop)
- In the "Graphics Settings" tab, click on "DTV (xxx)"
- Then click on "Scaling Options"
- Move the cursor completely to the right (0%) in overscan
In my case this has corrected the problem.
2) Opinion on the monitor IIYAMA B2712HDS:
a) Positive:
- Good value for an LCD monitor 27 "
- Good Design: No bright outline that reflects light like on most competing models
- Very good ergonomics: You can easily adjust the position height and tilt according to the piece of furniture is available.
- 3 year manufacturer's warranty on site standard exchange.
b) Negative:
- The viewing angle High-Low is really not homogeneous: Very bright in "Top View" and lack of light with excessive contrast in "Bottom View" mode (Much worse than my 19 "ViewSonic VP930 starts already dating)
- It looked like a direct access button for switching sources with priority setting in auto mode (This is on my 19 "ViewSonic VP930)
Currently, there are two solutions: to be very fast on the buttons to change the source through the OSD or be patient menu by pressing the "Auto" button for 5 seconds to access the source selection menu.
Note that if you are stuck on one source and that it does not receive a video signal, you will not have access to the OSD and the only way to switch the source will be done through the "Auto"
- Additional HDMI inputs to increase the choice of sources (and thus the number of connectable devices) would have been a plus (as most existing TV sets)
So my opinion for this product.
