Good workmanship, comfortable workout

The Kettler dumbbell bars (2 pieces have ordered) came quickly and neatly packaged for me to.
The packaging is reminiscent of empty toilet paper rolls, these are very thick and closed with two nailed plastic lids. This may just think I even throw from the balcony without causing a scratch on the bars. I have tried not natural.

The many negative reviews I can not understand personally.
When opening the packaging greets an equal to the tire-like rubber smell, that's right. This however disappear after 1-2 days. At least we know therefore that we have received new. A colouration or the like on their hands, I could not tell (training a total of 16 sets, 4 each for biceps, shoulders, triceps and neck with total weight of 17.5 to 22.5 kg per dumbbell) after training.

The workmanship is as expected from Kettler, really very good. The rubber is bonded clean and tidy, not to the threads, not to the rest of the bars I could see any burrs or unclean processed edges. The diameter is 30mm, which is the norm and most weights should fit. I use discs made of cast iron of ScSports that are simply cheaper than the of Kettler. The rods have incl. Stern closure a weight of 2.5 kilograms per bar, this is also standard.

The training is designed, as compared to ungummed rods, much easier on the hands. Not only because the weights on the rubber course are as bare or corrugated iron soft, but also because they are a little thicker than usual and are therefore particularly suitable for larger hands to grip better,. The slip resistance, even or especially when sweaty hands is also no comparison to standard barbells. I workout solely at home and use generally no gloves.

I have and will continue to my friends and acquaintances this barbells because I'm very happy with it.
