Against rain the tarp is tight. However, it does not prevent (when the wheel is on turf) the dew comes under the tarp. It is therefore advisable to provide the seat with a waterproof cover. A problem arises because of stronger winds. This comes under the tarp and inflates it to. The plans would be gone forever if, as described above, this would not be so fixed. A rubber band or string around round is therefore necessary in high winds and storm. However, in case of storm is also a risk that the wheel tilts, since naturally the large area catches the wind.
The tarpaulin is ansich super, big, driving rain, pretty to look at. The star deduction is only available for the non-deliberate fixation against strong wind and for ansich to small supplied bag. Because the tarp so again consolidate the fit in the "Turn Ackerl", takes effort and a lot of time. For daily use a bit annoying (yes, I know, then you take just another pocket for it - but if even one is included ...).
