After I bought and devoured all the books only by Baldacci and then Vince Flynn, I came across Brad Thor.
His books are less aggressive than martial Vince Flynn, but otherwise often very similar in structure.
If one looks away about as much as about the obvious superiority of the protagonist (Olympic athlete, Navy SEAL with study, Secret Service and terrorist hunter with extremely good looks;) ...), then you have discovered very interesting and fascinating reading for themselves ,
