First, the box - as always by Blizzard Collector's Edition, the value is very good. Already during unpacking you have to feel for his money get. The box is relatively large and heavy, the packaging makes a high quality impression. The content is appropriate for a CE, and ultimately for me the book (artbook) represents the greatest value. It looks great next to the other CE's on the shelf. I especially like that the CE of AddOns fits of the layout, the CE of the classic game.
Now briefly to the game itself. Yes, Blizzard has not released the optimal Diablo2 successor at the beginning, there were problems with the server, and many were with the items (yellow> Legendary) dissatisfied. Diablo3 It was a Diablo2 in new graphic expected and that is / was not easy. One might say Blizzard should have known better and just awarded a star. I find, however, that the development of the game has undergone since its launch has been very positive. Blizzard has listened to the criticism from the community and the game in the right direction improved / developed. The shutdown of the auction house was more than necessary.
Among the voices who complain about lack of content - which has been made since in Diablo2 - Felt 100 million. Baal runs to come from LVL 90 to 91 - was the variety and good gameplay? No it was not, and any of the claims now the Diablo2 talks himself nicely.
I played like and much Diablo2, I think there are points that you should take (no new spec, skill trees, Charms) but there are also good innovations in Diablo 3 I good find (Paragon LVL Item effects, improved Gameplay (graphics, even if they do not like some.), diversity of skill revisions. In addition, it must be said that possibly concepts would no longer arrive from earlier today as well as then. It was just a different time you were younger and PC games were not as a mass market, it's hard to please everybody right.
I think that Blizzard has brought in the game since the release very many changes / innovations / improvements that other manufacturers would eventually sell even as AddOn. There are very regular small and large patches Blizzard "care" around the game.
I enjoy classical hack & slay, there is still potential for improvement clearly where there is not. I look forward, as the game develops in the coming months maybe even years.
