great but expensive headphones and long not a pure fashion accessory more

In the shop I had but the chance to test several headphones. Am with my phone quasi once across quite extensively with several songs tried by the Bluetooth range and have about 5 headphones.

The top priority in my decision was a balanced warm sound. Besides me but also the processing and appearance was important, as well as the general handling BT.

I want to now not very responsive to the other manufacturers, some models sounded very good, some were not necessarily comfortable to wear or were just very loose on. Others have such a daft look that you so not necessarily dare to the streets.

Each of these headphones, I had as far as tested, was something that I do not like so much, until I got the Beats Studio Wireless in the fingers:

The beats I had not so on the bill, because I do not feel belonging to the target group in the first moment. I kept the beats far more for a mere fashion accessory with on bass lastigem sound to great to hear his R'n'B stuff.

The first impression you get when you take the headphones in hand, is the great processing. Much better than almost any other headphones I had before in his hand. Even the look is ahead of the Beats Studio Wireless his competitors, but here the tastes probably go apart. Big plus is that you can fold the Headset.

The first try-then the next "wow". The headphones are super comfortable on your head. By that I mean that the headset actually has a tight fit without annoying after a one hour already. Many headphones that I've tested previously, sit very stable, the pressure sucks but, while others are so loose in that they slide in motion before.
There are certainly more comfortable headphones that you can wear at home listening to music. The beats provide the best carrying-compromise on the go and at home.

The beats the way you can easily carry on a cap without the stop suffering.

After several musical tests I was even more convinced. The Beats Studio Wireless sounds much more harmonious, than I expected. Of course, he is dominant in the low range, but the overall impression is great. The sound is rather warm and less analytical, but, in my opinion, suitable for many styles, and not just for R'n'B, Hip-Hop / Rap or Electro.
I like that it sounds very pleasant even at higher volume and alongside punchy, but not too dominant basses also very balanced mids and highs offers that sound confident, but not too pushy or compulsively try to create brilliance.

Topic ANC (Active Noise Canceling):
This feature causes a slight noise that one perceives only between the songs and song quiet passages.
The function itself is not bad. The ambient noise but that's not completely hidden. This means that the road noise still perceives light in the tram or the subway, and the drivel from the neighbor. What is thus especially well hidden the own noises are the one generated. You know what I mean by InEars when talking, coughing, clears his throat or just go so, those sounds and resonances can be heard while wearing InEars always very clear. All this is very well compensated by the ANC. Supposedly the engine noise when traveling by air are very well wiped out.

The only negative point during the ANC Beats Studio Wireless is that you can not turn it off. Home about not necessarily need it and would be able to significantly increase the battery life by disabling certain of ANC. Something absurd it is then the use of the headphone cable. Even the cable operation ANC is activated and thus needs battery. If the battery is empty, the headset does not work anymore! The battery life is specified with 12 hours in wireless mode and 20 hours with cable operation.

There is a function in which you can operate the headset only in the ANC mode. Here only the ANC is activated, nothing else. In my eyes, quite a useless feature, because the ANC anyway not everything can hide 100%. Deactivation of the ANC would have been much more sensible. Let's see if you bring the function with a software update.

Topic Software Update. The Beats Studio Wireless can be updated. You can take the beats Updater (download and install) and the Web browser to display the installed software version and check for new firmware versions.

Operation and handling:
The handling with iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro runs pretty smoothly. If you use both devices, you should pay attention when you connect that when you turn the headset only one BT source is active. I therefore turned home the BT on iPhone 6 briefly, before I turn on the headset, so it connects with the laptop. The connection via the laptop is impeccable, even over several meters. On iPhone you have to make sure that you let the finger from the phone. If you operate the phone and stops in front of the nose there is not the problem, of course, but just in cold weather it may skip during playback when the phone clutched in your pocket with your hands.

Fortunately, you can use the phone quite well even with the headphones. This works almost like you know it from the Apple InEars with the wired remote control. There are the Beats Studio Wireless on the left ear cup three buttons. Loud / quiet / action. The Action button offers Pairing Mode (2 sec.) Press and Play / Pause (brief press) the possibility of the track change (2x for the next track, previous track for 3x) or rewinding (2x and the 2nd time hold before Forward and 3x and pushed the 3rd time hold for Rewind). On iPhone there is actually a small battery icon next to the BT icon that shows the charge level of the headphones.

The scope of supply is plentiful:

- Audio cable (for pure headphone operation)
- Headset cable
- USB charging cable (Micro USB cable)

Summary:

+ The Beats looks great, is super processed.
+ Collapsible
+ Comfortable to wear
+ Sits firmly on the head
+ Great sound
+ Easy handling via iOS and OS X

- ANC undefeatable
- After extended wear (> 2 hours) slight unpleasant feeling of pressure
- Very high price

I opted for the headphones, because I have to make any huge compromises in contrast to the other devices. I like the headphones, it sounds great, it sits very pleasant (but which I use it rarely longer than 2 hours at a time)
What hurts is the extremely high price. One must be aware that good BT headphones are generally very expensive. Cheap wireless headphones are usually really cheap.

The Beats costs just again a little bit of more what I given the advantages offered but appears justified.
I had, as already mentioned, not on the bill and was in the store just by trying to beat fan, but can understand when someone given the price shakes his head.
