Three weeks ago, I bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ61 - after much reading the reviews and the published reviews. Based on the tests I doubted long, because after that the picture quality is only moderate. The special thing about this camera is its versatility but according to the reviews, which I was also important. A 3-4x zoom, as in the test winners, but I was a bit scarce. 7x it should be at least as early as well as a 24mm wide-angle. But that has ultimately only the TZ61. A 30x zoom would it not need to be the same, here I would have liked a little less, because such a large focal length scope must result in quality losses. I also wanted to have a GPS receiver on board, so I can understand the location of the photos when traveling better. The possibility to take full HD video (1080p) was important to me. In these requirements, the air is thin and so I then just decided to go for the TZ61 with some stomach pain ... ... And I was very surprised at the quality of the photos. It is not necessary in 90% of the photos, to switch to a manual mode. The automatic is very reliable. In backlit scenes several photos one after another shot and combined (HDR). From this automatically also result in strong contrasts beautiful photos. I am not a professional photographer, but I'm already a high value on a good quality of my photos. I've also given up to assess the very last details about critical. I do not magnify my photos to the last pixel, but would like images up to A4 or to embed in photo books and thereby preserve quality and great memories. For this purpose, this camera delivers results that I have never seen on digital cameras ... In this respect I would like the Panasonic Lumix TZ61 put all his heart, who are not addicted to the pixel craze or the test mania, but are looking for a practical and very versatile camera and without much fumbling make wonderful photos want. Who does not like to live without manual adjustments, still has many settings and can live fully. But I have this time behind me and enjoy today the full automatic - and am thrilled. What I'm going to buy me but still, a second battery, because after 200-250 photos makes the battery limp. This can sometimes be close to a wonderful day ...
