Function:
There is not much to say about the function. You put either 3xAA batteries, or equivalent batteries in the lantern by unscrewing the underbody of the lantern. After the lamp is simply turned on by pulling on and off by pushing together.
The burn time with 3xAA-Eneloop batteries (2000 mAh) is with me about 50h. The brightness of the lamp is 60 lumens.
Furthermore, the lamp has two metal handles, with which the lantern on carabiner in tents, or in branches, etc. can be hung.
Usage:
The lantern can be used in different situations. Whether you're looking for something with insufficient illumination of a room, or if you while camping evening some light to read, navigate and entertain themselves (and this view) is needed.
Moreover, the storm lantern design brings (for me anyway), many retro elements, making the lantern also quite suitable as an object for photography (see photo), to win a certain charm for images.
Conclusion:
I'm a bit in love with the lantern and find myself, as I sometimes even use at home at night, when I wake up and need to use the toilet. One could simply turn on the light, but for me is inherent to the design of the lamp a certain old-fashioned romance, which I probably often use, if it were not actually necessary :-).
I can recommend the lantern all camping enthusiastic people, but also all others who just quickly need a good illumination and for which the beam of a flashlight can be focused.
