I had problems with Allerding assembly. The frame of my bike has no screw for the lock. That is why I ordered the version with clamps for mounting to the rear wheel.
The clamps are no more than slightly wider hose clamps made of plastic!
That's for a little reassuring, because by turning the screws that tighten the clamps at the slightest resistance. Secondly, no spacer between the lock and rear triangle is scheduled. Therefore, the looped on the right side coming from the top tube Bowden cable for the rear derailleur through the entire length of the castle which is not only unsightly but also degrades the switching process.
A similar castle of Trelock that I have installed on my touring bike has, metal hooks with plastic spacers. Here it would be possible with a key file to file a small notch in the Kunstoffummantelung so that the Bowden cable can operate freely and without any friction.
Therefore 1 point deduction.
Another point deduction is available for the pathetic level of key with plastic head and the fact that the ordered to the castle chain is used together with the bracket. Again, the Trelock is significantly better on my other bike. Must be cracked to the Trelock lock pick of the bracket and the additional safety chain because they have separate locking mechanisms. I can at this castle also use the chain without the U-lock to close. This is not possible with the Abus lock.
Ultimately, it is as always - you get what you pay for.
