As I pull into the low load, I wanted to learn some Dutch for everyday life. First I tried a course of Langenscheid and thought to myself, I buy the best of what there is. However, the chapters were always so extensive that 2 Days only learned vocabulary and 2 days back only grammar, etc. 'In de startblokken' on the other hand is super built. 18 chapters on all possible everyday topics with exercises in the book as well as on the Internet. The vocabulary lists you can ausdurcken the Internet and the chapters are short and clear, that they can go through in 1 hour. By this I mean text only times only listen to CD, then once with read along, then learn the vocabulary to then repeat the text again with, read the grammar and do the exercises it. 1 hour day I find enjoyable and I had the book in a month (not every day had time for one chapter) by. And then you can as much Dutch, that in everyday life can reasonably communicate and be understood in conversations about what is meant. I immediately ordered my sequel. Summa sumarum: The perfect book to the way to learn Dutch.
