This unit I bought for my Samsung Galaxy S5 and no regrets!
I put the Galaxy on the charging cradle (inductive back cover provided at S5) is immediately recognized and already starts the charging process.

Perhaps the shell invites not quite soooo fast as directly over the cable, but this is minimal and does not bother me.
Much more important to me that I had with the cable and the USB cover have not this stupid Gefummle now!

Very strong buy recommendation !!!
