Great device, unfortunately, with too many problems

At first I was very pleased. The quality of music transfer is very good (I do not have high-end audio system). The sound is transferred with 5 seconds delay. To view videos and listen to audio through the system this device is definitely not suitable.

I use this device only to music from the Macbook, iMac and iPad wirelessly to stream to my system and for the iReceiver is perfect. He was at least initially.

Now, however, the more or less serious problems, which is why I have returned the device again:
Herumprobieren After hours I finally managed to iReceiver to connect it to the network.
So light as indicated in the guidance it does not work, even connect via WPS was set up only Mühsählig.
The unit chose first and every time by itself when the power supply was connected.

After a few weeks it would be no longer automatically dial into the wireless, even connect via WPS was not mögich, reset and play around by multiple I did it for hours but that can connect via WPS, however, keeps this connection only to the plug is pulled, but it lies mostly within 5 minutes after connecting to rebuild what I could accept at first.

Unfortunately sometimes breaks off the connection to iReceiver and can only be rebuilt after I briefly disconnect the iReceiver from power. Over time that's happened so many times that it just made me annoyed only.
In addition, our wireless makes problems, since the iReceiver network is broken occasionally connect to the Internet from, funnily enough, the router remains (same wireless but connected to the Internet). It is also ungewöhnoich occurred IFT that the WLAN has disconnected for iPad, Macbook, ... but only individually, so this has to do, I have not yet figured out, since I no longer use the iReceiver has the problem but vanished into thin air, so I associate it with the device.

Alternatives:

Buyer I wanted an AirPlay device and no Bluetooth, as I had read the other device in many reviews that Bluetooth is worse than AirPlay. After iReceiver I decided due to the AirPlay alternatives are considerably more expensive allsamt for a Bluetooth device from Philips, with which I am very satisfied, all above-mentioned problems do not exist, also the unit with 15 (December 2014) is clearly cheaper than the troubled iReceiver.

Conclusion:
I can only recommend a Bluetooth option, this device ensures definitely not long for music enjoyment!
