What positively stands out:
- The picture quality is very good to excellent; certainly much more expensive devices can offer a touch more still what you'd probably see only in direct comparison. The image is rich in contrast and my equipment also has virtually no clouding on (very nice!). No comparison to my old Toshiba Regza (also LED) device, in which a clouding in dark movie scenes was stehts clearly visible.
- Relatively thin frame, also contributes to an impressive image impression
- Many connections: self Component connections are available, so that even an old Wii can be connected directly via an adapter
- The unit can be rotated
- Low power consumption (A +)
What might seam:
- Often mentioned in other reviews: the TV is on his feet actually wrong (tilted to the left). One wonders, in fact, as a manufacturer such an obvious lack apparently can deliberately ignore. Can be remedied by supporting the television left by something (in my case a Scart adapter) - sounds stupid but it helps.
- The multilingual user manual is bad to inaktzeptabel, not even all the technical features are explained in detail. What's example. "MEMC" for a function, I had to even bring the internet in experience
Topic Gaming / Input Lag:
In many assessments here is to read that the device has an unacceptable Input Lag (image lag) when connecting PC or consoles and games so it is not possible.
I can say this: I have an Xbox 360 connected to the TV and could not understand this criticism so far. Games like Need for Speed ("The Run"), Forza 3 and Rage can play / use, a significant delay I can not find any problems. However, I'm not a "power gamers", but casual gamers.
Since the TV does not have WiFi, I had to start again temporarily connect a network cable, whereupon the Grundig informed immediately of an available software update that I had then also install it directly. My software version now reads: V02.009.00. Maybe this update has eliminated the problems - it would be interesting to know if the one of the other reviewers can confirm?
Finally, a word to build: the unit is rather heavy, a building alone is just as still possible as long as one has a little muscle strength. Empfehlenswerter is certainly the building for two.
