Manufacturing satisfactory. The sharpness is good, even surprising given the size (the small size of the lens is worrying frantale initially). The opening is sufficient for most situations, though this kind of focus can be found approx. f / 1.8 or 2 on a fairly compact and reasonably priced size: compared to the 50 f / 1.8, nothing to see in overall quality (see my review), and 35 f / 2 is completely exceeded optically.
Two other small cost advantages: No need for a protective filter, and the sun visor (not included) is irrelevant!
One regret: we must Page Add a ring to mount on the EOS-M, which made him lose its small thickness in this case whose interest is precisely to be compact ...
