1. Introduction / Design:
The Sony KDL40R470 has replaced my old Grundig tube, it was time.
I was looking for a 40 inch monitor with Full HD. It should be as a Samsung, Sony or LG. GTA 5 sees as simply stunning from, as a reference but I have my NBA2K13 / 14 looked at closer because the 2K basketball game graphically plays at a very high level and looks incredibly good on the Samsung TVs of my friends. The Sony keeps with absolutely here, on both devices, the game looks very good. I can not detect any differences. I always play the "Game Mode".
This brings me to the second, for gamblers important point: input lag. If you want to enjoy its games, you should inform yourself before buying, if the request TV in this regard has problems or not. If it stays that way, 4/5 in this category, I expect from a 2013 Sony manufactured device that all common formats can be played back without any problems.

7. Conclusion:
I give the SONY KDL40R470 full credit, since he meets all the requirements that I had on my new TV with flying colors: FULL HD capable and therefore a really great image in all types of use (Xbox360, DVD, PC, etc.), video games run perfectly liquid and no input lag, the gamble so nothing stands in your way. I had an extraordinary, elegant design is very important because I personally just do not find this 0815 piano lacquer devices particularly attractive middle pedestal. Here the Sony plays externally from another, great strength. Furthermore, the good piece weighs about 7KG, easy and space-saving.
Anyone looking for a 40 incher, which simply offers FULL HD and the essentials of extended functions (USB, etc.) and can do without things like smart TV and 3D will be well served here. Because what the KDL40R470 can, he can really good;)!
