SONY DSC-TX100Vx
The color rendering of the photos as well as the display are excellent.
The sharpness of the photos also.
But with good natural light, even on cloudy days, the camera is virtually unkonfigurierbar. One sees on the touch screen just is not enough. Give us the keys back!
In addition, the wiping and zooming on the touch screen is very sluggish. Each D-pad control is faster and more accurate.
About miserable battery life with active GPS and the high power consumption of the touch screen everything has already been said.
Conclusion: Front super, rear (touchscreen) not. Better to grab Nikon.

SUMMARY
Anyone who wants to take pictures with GPS, which has to decide: Do I really always remember the GPS at home off again, so that the camera the next time you use still has power in it? Is it acceptable that photos are sometimes taken without GPS tag? Or alternatively I am ready always 10 to 20 seconds to wait for the localization is done? Then the Nikon is the first choice, who wants a full metal case reaches for much slower and eat their battery Panasonic.
But if I go hiking for several days or immediately reliably geotags would have in the picture anytime and anywhere, without emanating me the power, then there are only two "options: The Casio EX-H20G ... or iPhone 4S. With two but one should not dive, stumbling or digging in the sand. ;-)
