for about 3 months now pleased me the acer3820. My personal opinion:

better than expected
+ Super performance for the price
+ Easily and quickly (just the graphic)
+ Quiet
+ Display is not as bad as advertised

worse than expected
- Crashes once a week from (I had even when Windows is not so often)
- When you plug the AC adapter, the graphics toggles,
like it or not, at least Mozilla (Firefox & Thunderbird) plunge from here
- Buttons too close together
