Asus S200E-CT157H 29.5 cm (11.6 inches) Netbook (Intel Celeron 987, 1.5GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Intel HD, Touch Screen, Win 8) Gray The previous review I can not understand. Have the Netbook bought because my older netbook no longer meets my requirements, I need a small device to a travel companion for email, internet and get my photos from the memory card to an external drive to back up (there is a USB 3.0 connection!) And a first look to throw it. All these requirements are met the instrument so excellent that it is even on my daily companion. As big as an A4 booklet it fits into any pocket, even in my camera bag. Works amazingly well, incidentally, handwriting recognition, I will try in the next meetings for logging. Writing with a pen, as they are required for iPad or iPhone goes, very good. With the Windows 8 makes browsing a lot of fun, almost better than on the iPad. That not all programs join the touch control I think is understandable and is in my opinion a matter of time. The touch screen is a real asset when the unit is facing on the table and can be operated very intuitively and directly. The touch surface is pleasant and smooth to use with my device. On the workmanship I have nothing to complain about, all the edges clean, nothing is over. With the Pentium processor, the programs will run quite smoothly, my 11 MB size images are displayed afloat, even the slide show mode runs smoothly. The unit is ready to start very quickly, a significant improvement on the previous generation. The update took with me not 2 hours but walked briskly across the stage. The screen is suitable for image viewing conditions, you have to stop to adjust the correct angle, but that is in other notebooks (except perhaps with IPS displays) that way. The fan hums softly audible in ambient noise barely audible. All in all I am satisfied with the device, do not regret the purchase and I spend a lot of time with device at the moment, because it is really good fun. Much Netbook for money. The functionality and the capabilities compared to a tablet are a strong argument for the same ease of use. Should I maybe even sell my iPad? :-)
