Positives:
Expected to be very durable, sufficiently bright LED lighting.
Very low power consumption in standby and operation.
Easy installation and adjustment, with many switching and light options - probably the most versatile outdoor luminaire currently technically on the market.
The entrance area and the house number are illuminated simultaneously upon approach.
A setting variant allows a weak continuous illumination of the house number in the dark.
Negatives:
The included end, noble-looking, silver-gray numbers are somewhat hard to read from a distance. In construction market there are cheap replacement in black.
In case of heavy continuous rain, the lamp will remain due to the "radar sensor" (no infrared sensor) possibly turned on for hours.
Also guides the movement of branches and leaves in a storm-not with light wind to turn
of the lamp.
This also describes the operating instructions!
Due to the low power consumption and long life of the LEDs, are the deficiencies described, however, neglecting my view.
An infrared motion detector would possibly have been the technically better solution - would, however, hurt the design.
Remove the four screws which for mounting the house number, the type L 820, challenges or screwed
must be, are extremely stiff. For Model 800 and 810, without a house number, there is this problem with the screws not!
