I do not have the phone unfortunately bought from Amazon, because I made my old broken and have a new urgent needs. That's why I did not want to wait for the delivery ... I prefer Amazon generally always before, but in such a case I have to make an exception. Please excuse :) ... I'm gone you "foreign".
Previously I had a Samsung S3 and was also very satisfied for long. However, you have already noticed that this phone was really still a little slower. There are just little things at the end of the bothered me ... Calling up the telephone menu and the contacts has just taken me there for too long.
Well, then I wanted to flash and it was just something in the pants ... definitely has nothing to do with the quality of the S3, that was my personal fault!
I have the device for 299, - bought in black. I now do not know if it is generally so, but mine has definitely LTE (which I do not but use).
Let's start so at times ...
Packaging and contents:
As with Samsung now common, there is the packaging made from recycled materials and organic paint. The box was kept as small as possible. Something I like. You no longer need waste than necessary. In the package there are headset and a charger, so as a small printed manual. Oh and of course the battery :) ...
Feel and look:
The Note 3 Neo conveys a feeling of not really "cheap" or Lower Version of normal Note 3 ... it is actually processed, as well as the Grade 3 at first glance ... so I could not tell the difference because now, apart on the size. The phone feels really very valuable, even the back, or the plastic-leather cover like me really very very good. The mobile phone works by really precious. The weight is also very good, if something is too easy, it also feels not Wertig to ... but that's just my personal opinion. Everything about the Note 3 Neo is very narrow so that has not held an unnecessarily large margin. The gaps are also very good, the screen is taken clean under. Very well done !!!
Software and Workflow:
The current software version is Android 4.4.2, everything is on the phone very liquid. Thanks to the really good hardware there is really nothing to complain about. Anyone who has ever used to TouchWiz, really want to have anything else. I find it very well and would not like to change to another surface. I am also glad that that note does not have the appearance of the S5 because the back do not like so much. But that's a matter of taste. The workflow with the S-Pen is of course a great addition, you can do so much with it that would here but each frame blasting. I had so much written on my note 8.0 for my training and have now via Samsung account all documents on my Note 3 Neo .... absolutely EXCELLENCE ... Everything Synct themselves and so must it be. Who wants to learn more about the S-Pen, should look necessarily some video on YouTube. There you learn a lot useful! Software and Workflow are therefore on the current state of the art. What I think, unfortunately, less well, so many apps are not deleted .. but many can be deactivated, which is very useful.
Display:
What can you say about AMOLED yet? Each of the times had AMOLED would also like to stick to it .... The only difference between the score 3 Neo and the other devices, that is, there is no longer the menu item "Screen mode" more. There you could adjust different color settings, however, are the not really needed. On my S3 there was also always standard, and that was very gaudy colored ... you could still do something "flat" or "Colorful". But that itched me little. Here there is only the option "Dynamic Contrast". No more, only I am annoyed about something, but actually totally unnecessary. After all, the colors are just as you are, really good. And the contrast is of course all first quality. As simple as no longer! Unfortunately there were no really correct Bright days since I got it, but I think worse than my S3 it will not be :). The resolution is absolutely class. I also find that it does not somehow Pixelated looks ... not at all. At first I thought, well hopefully have enough resolution. And I'm really fussy about the concerns.
Update 1 (11.18.2014:
Camera:
The camera of Note 3 Neo's makes surprisingly good photos :), but mind you, compared to other mobile phone cameras. As a substitute for a proper camera I would however never recommend. As long as enough light is there, really get usable images to get out, but even then ... it's a bit darker, it begins to sound. This is rather normal and usually in such small camera sensors. Funny, the image programs, such as face detection, HDR or Panorama. Are really doing useful things.
Back Cover (battery cover):
The back cover, as already mentioned I like so very good, but I had to realize that the cover at one point had some play. You then always felt that it would be easy to push the cover. Well, now is not really tragic, a gap I could not see, it was really just to feel. Have then taken a very small piece of tissue, and placed it in the bowl and pressed shut the cover again. Problem solved :). Otherwise, I still am pleased with this chic leather look. I like much better than with the S models.
Memory Card:
Forgot to mention, the Note 3 Neo lets me expand a micro SD card. I think up to 64GB.
Bluetooth, hands-free and listen to music in the car:
I like to use my Note 3 Neo to listen to music in the car. But I connect it via Bluetooth to the car radio. Clear, speakerphone is also included. I can read via car radio, the current title on the display and further skipping / Vorspulenen / pause etc. Works very reliable and stable.
Built-in speaker:
The speaker of Note 3 Neo is indeed loud, but the quality, well ... So listen to music, I would not recommend the now. To alert it is very good. But nothing more.
So I hope I first not forget ... my only impression is definitely worth of 5 star ... we'll see if it stays that way :) Otherwise I write here again purely something new!

As already described, the battery cover has some play, he does not close completely. That made me then but so disturbed that I called Samsung. You have me then immediately helped to the hotline and sent me a new one. Now everything is perfect.
Again, the battery ... so I'm not a hardcore user, I really only use the part to call, email, WhatsApp and threema ... starting to hear I therefore also music through headphones. The battery lasts for 3 days by a radical charge of 25% .... That's incredible. I do not use power-saving features, and have the display on your car and on +3 ... truly world class.
Am still very excited !!!
