Bought to start photo and hitherto no real experience so I will not give an expert opinion After extensive research, it is definitely the price that decided me because in this price bracket I think it's hard to beat (besides the EOS1100D, his little brother was already ranked best quality / price Que Choisir). Having only experience with compact and bridge, we enter another world, the picture quality is 100 times better even in difficult light conditions, and we can finally have fun. The + - Relatively lightweight with good grip - Anti slip plastic housing quality is not cheap - Almost Instant start - Well organized and clear Settings for a beginner - Many modes available and easy to understand - The autofocus is fast and efficient, though it seems much more convenient to use the viewfinder the display (slow) - Viewfinder that can correct your vision if you wear glasses (good idea) - The screen is pretty good, with a correct view (wide angle), but the sun shines - Built-in flash with support for external flash Les - - Burst mode is quite slow (less than 3 frames / sec). - No Touchscreen or swivel, which is a real lack - Video mode impractical (no automatic autofocus) - No strap on the lens cap - No WiFi
In short, for me, one of the best quality / price on the market which makes it a perfect companion for beginners. Performance is for me above my expectations (but I started ..)
