I wanted an LED screen with connection capabilities to the net and my internal home network. I also wanted it to be thin and beautiful. Thereupon The UE40D6500 fulfills its role very well. In terms of picture quality is impeccable. As soon as you plug it into a HD 1080p source one is amazed by the smoothness of it. Another plus: if you have an Iphone / Ipad, I recommend the application of remote control that allows you to turn your smartphone into a remote control. Seems pretty gadget like that, but when you need to enter text that is more than appreciable can enjoy their telephone keypad instead of too much hassle with basic remote control.
I did not necessarily need the 3D but I told myself that at this price it was not worth the trouble to deny it. By cons I wish Samsung provides at least a pair of glasses and a HDMI cable.
