The price at which it is sold, it really is not worth the trouble to go without. The product works perfectly and is compatible with my D90. Good perceived quality and precise controls. I feared that the cable is a little short for what I'm doing is not the case. Although useful in low speed to trigger without moving the case. I also used it with the box held vertically mounted on a monopod. No infrared beam or batteries that could be used to when we need the product. One word: PERFECT !!! As usual amazon good service, although I was a little disappointed with the packaging in which my trigger was not well protected.
