Initially, I had a tv stand with glass door behind which was a home theater amp. Since I changed my furniture and my door is solid wood so more no signal passes through. So I bought this infrared offset. The recipient cell is under the tv. It flashes when receiving an infrared signal, so I was able to test and I found it really good TV reception. No worries on this, I really had no problem of interference or another. As for the cell that retransmits the signal, I put it inside my cabinet, on the door of my cabinet and therefore to 5 centimeter of my amp. Once we understand the cell is located or which receives the signal on the amp and that instead the fair emitting cell before, well it works nickel. Voila, it has done its job.
Maybe I could find a love like product that works with another current source (we do not always have an outlet handy USB). I also note that the re-transmitting cell is small and is affixed with double-sided tape. I'm afraid that maybe in the future she takes off and I have to pick all with something beefier (remember that my cell is affixed to a door that moves). The cables could have been a longer hair also, be careful with that. I think that the manufacturer of this study. The risk of them longer is to lose signal quality.
Anyway, for me, compared to what I bought and what I wanted to do while walking impeccable and I can only put 5 stars.
