Why limited?
The settings of the TV and the receiver, as well as other devices such as Blue Ray player or XBOX must be set correctly. At the beginning, I have the soundbar connected solely via a Toslink cable to my TV (Samsung). Although the sound playback from the receiver (Sky +) was better than before, but nothing compared to playing on the Blue Ray player (Sony). When playing safehouse on the Blue Ray player I nearly fell off the couch so impressive was the sound.
Why I had the same result is not the receiver?
The Sky receiver passes in the default setting the sound through HDMI exclusively in Stereo TV to take in Dolby Digital. Pech's just that when you change this setting (Dolby Digital via HDMI) no sound came from the Soundbar because my TV was not compatible with the new setting. So now I have the receiver connected to the soundbar directly via HDMI. Now it works beautifully.
Conclusion:
Who knows a little better with his equipment and also is not afraid to play with the settings of the different devices, which I can recommend the Soundbar definitely. The bass in action movies, I personally find impressive.
