In my MX-5 NBFL Bj. 2004, I had at a retrofitted by the previous owner JVC Radio that this one either manually and was off, or all the settings (clock, equalizer, playback position, etc.) forgot as soon as you turned off the car , I bought this radio in the hope of improvement and was not disappointed.
In general:
The radio is great in itself, the installation went perfectly vonstatten.
Included is an adapter from the ISO-cable harness to the radio's connection in this to Dauerplus- and auxiliary cables can plug together any or replace: Without cable by cutting or soldering can be adapted so that radio perfectly on the car:
In my MX-5 NB as the cable had to be replaced.
Thanks to the included mounting frame is a fixed installation without screws a breeze and the well-fitting visor obscured everything.
The sound is great, only the bass come not as punchy on the speakers to like my cheap JVC radio. However, the overall sound impression is significantly better.
On the positive side:
-Kabelbaum
-Farbwahl Between red and blue
-Super-Read display
-excellent Radio reception - sometimes even works with retracted antenna)
-Klappbare USB cover (for the eyes)
-Gummierter Large volume control
-Easy Connection with Bluetooth and high speed connection (faster music transfer as series Mini and BMW multimedia consoles)
-Good Manual
-Fast USB read times
Display on clock convertible (otherwise my car has no clock)
-at Least control buttons for forward / back are large and easy to reach
Negative is:
-Ansonsten Relatively small buttons
-When Two test phones (HTC One / Sony Xperia S) launched after the Bluetooth connection, the music not by itself, it must first be pressed Play on the Radio / mobile phone. Rocket Player (Android) however provides a function for automatic playback, once a connection is made.
-The Sense of NFC is relatively low
-relative Long reading times between tracks when manually skipping MP3 CD
-Straight For audio features you have to drag the guide to rate
-According To set source change the options available in the Settings menu -> irritating
-No Automatic dimming function when switching from low beams as previous Radio
I hope the review helps one or the other in their purchasing decision.
All in all, I am more than satisfied and would buy the radio again.
