In recent years, I have different manufacturers (eg Brooks, Adidas, Nike, ..) and models tried, but I'm always happy to return Asics - the shoe section is close to my.
Framework: My running "power" is about 3 times a week, depending on the time available 7-21km per run, regardless of the weather. Also have several pairs of running shoes used in parallel (weather / terrain dependent, but also to be not very broken in to a specific shoe). I usually buy my running shoes in the business after extensive trial and error. The extreme favorable price and well-known brand to me moved me to the online purchase - has paid off (65 vs.> 120 in the "offline" trade).
For this shoe: the shoe is as usual from Asics perfectly finished. The size falls - like all Asics models - from very small: I wear street shoes at most 38, at the running shoes CA 1 size larger for Asics 39.5 (ie 1.5 points more). This model is also cut narrow, which fits perfectly with my foot.
Damping is a trail shoe on tarmac readily usable, and: unexpected light in total weight! Really went in deep mud I am not yet so, autumn weather (wet and covered with foliage paths & roads) can be but in any case cope surefooted with sufficiently strong profiled sole.
Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase - the shoes have already almost 50km "the hump" ;-)
