I had overlooked the fact that the shoe has a Velcro closure, but which I find totally practical, especially since it is concealed (ie does not look like a health shoe). And for whatever reason, I had assumed that the white sole is flexible. But is not it. which is a solid plastic block that is my only gripe. Since there are better, but for the price ok.
