Great sound (which has to be adjusted with difficulty), but unfortunately too bulky and therefore inconvenient

As a preface, let me say that I personally wear reluctant headsets and only painfully renounce true 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. Since I now but have a small son and he's sleeping in the next room, just had to get a headset. Brand, price or design of the devices were playing for me in choosing not matter, but comfort and of course the quality of the sound. My review is aimed at gamers like me who do not throw themselves into online matches insults to his ear, but want to enjoy first-class surround sound in games. By that I mean that microphones have played no role in my tests.

I have tested and compared the Tritton Warhead 7.1, the Tritton Pro + 5.1, the Sharkoon X-Tatic S7 and the Sharkoon X-Tatic Pro. I chose these models because I want to operate on all consoles and the PC. Here I would mention that all 4 headsets could be operated without problems on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC - adapter etc. but I had quite a bit at home. Ultimately, I stayed at the Sharkoon X-Tatic S7, as it provides a good sound and is very comfortable.

Now the pros and cons of the Pro + 5.1:

Positives:
+ Sound is good, but not what I expected of true 5.1; is on the headset probably no better possible
+ Lots of accessories, many connection possibilities
+ No noise, as I had, for example, when Tritton Warhead 7.1 (wireless)

Neutral:
~ Front, center, rear and sub can indeed be set separately, but to meet the judge setting is very difficult
~ The earcups are softly padded, but not made of cloth => comfortable but you sweat very quickly
~ Through the white plastic headphones squeaks from time to time; he looks so but quite chic

Negatives:
- Headphones are barely padded and very heavy / bulky and therefore wear very uncomfortable => reason for return
- Overpriced compared to other products

Not tested:
~ Microphone / language

In conclusion I want to say that the device but provides a very good sound, but only after you have adjusted it laboriously. For testing, I alternated between Skyrim, Saints Row 3, Xbox Music and a TV series and had the sound after each change to adapt something, because something has just not quite fit. That may be what you are looking for a hi-fi enthusiasts precisely, for me it was just annoying. I have therefore decided to use the Sharkoon X-Tatic S7 which 7.1 Although only simulated, but almost reached the same surround sound effect in the end. In addition, it must not be set is not as massive as the product here and on top of that even 70 euros cheaper.
