Great stand-by bag for Olympus OM-D E-M5

For pocket, there is also a carrying strap, but very thin and could fail rather belong to a handbag.

If one solves the two buttons on the sides, the bag can be open to the front. When photographing the topside then hangs by a further push-button on the bottom shell, which is attached to the camera. This bag is not the photograph in the way. The folding works just as smoothly and quickly as unfolding. No tilting or twisting of the items.
The fact that the upper shell is fastened only by push-buttons on the bottom shell, you can solve this very quickly and easily if they are not required times. The pushbuttons rest pleasantly tight, but can still be easily opened.

The surface of artificial leather, which covers the grip of the camera feels in the moment something smooth. Compared to the rather smooth surface of the E-M5 one notices after some use that it is something catchy. In addition, the handle thus slightly enlarged and the camera is generally better in the hand.

Need to replace the battery and the SD card to the lower shell unfortunately unscrew. This is fortunately quite fast so that you get used to it after a while.

The screw at the bottom is indeed strong enough, but not suited to the camera on a tripod screw to normal handling. Because then she twists something easy. In addition, the screw is countersunk and protrudes out clearly how one can also see in the pictures.

EDIT: I now have the Olympus 12-40mm f / 2.8 and even fits in your pocket - super!

Overall, you get here a very nice carrying case for the Olympus OM-D E-M5, which makes design technically almost everything right. Only the somewhat smooth surface could secure one or two disturbing. If that matter is with this bag is just right. All others must engage much deeper into their pockets and buy the original Olympus CS-36 FBC is a genuine leather. According to some statements but should not be so great from a handling aspect.

From me therefore give it a strong buy recommendation.
