Great Tablet with super value for money!

Technical equipment:
Quad Core 1.2 GHz, each with a + 5th power-saving processor for example, surfing the Internet or the like. Here one is really top serviced and is little more processing power found in the market. Man please correct me, if necessary :) The Tablet reacts super fast and runs smoothly. Together with the NVIDIA graphics chipset you are well prepared for games. This uses up to 256 MB of system memory (shared memory) for graphics applications. We were already in memory: 1 GB of RAM also seems very common these days to me. Do not know a tablet with more memory. Compared with the former model AT300 has doubled in the way the FSB clock of memory from 667 to 1333 MHz! The overview can be found here: [...]

Display:
Had the previous no IPS Pannel, so this is now built into the AT300SE. The resolution of 1200x800 is more than enough for me. But who here wants to exploit the boundaries of what is possible: The Acer Iconia is available with Full HD 1080p display and iPad4 with Retina. Maybe Just look at etc. with friends, acquaintances, and then you know more often. I could look at a current Full HD Display with an acquaintance in peace before purchase. For me it was not a sensible value, but everyone must know yourself. With regard to color fidelity, contrast and brightness, I find the AT300SE outstanding! The colors are very natural and I run my pad usually at 10% brightness. I can (which, moreover, also provides an excellent picture!) Compare with Samsung LE40C650 Full HD TV, an Acer S242HLCBID and a HTC Desire S. It should nevertheless be noted that the difference in pixel density one can use the pixel size between Desire S (800x480 to 3.7 inch) to AT300SE already looks considerably. Poor but AT300SE is therefore by no means! As I said ... best to take himself in appearances! The pixels of AT300SE are certainly finer than a 27 inch Mac 7th generation with 2560 × 1440 resolution! One correct me, if necessary :)

Look, feel and processing:
The design I find very successful! The appearance of the tablets is very harmonious and grow up! It bothers no logo on the front, only on the back of a Toshiba logo is attached. The build quality is absolutely perfectly on my machine! Knotless gaps, very precisely, no protruding ridges ... so I like that :) In addition, the device is pleasantly light (625 grams) and feels comfortable "soft" on. The glass (as far as I am aware no Gorilla glass more, at least is no longer advertised on the packaging so!) Is very high and stable! This applies to the whole tablet. It has survived a fall from the bed of 60cm without any damage. In so far, I also forgive willingly, that the case is now over its predecessor made of plastic! The constant fear of scratches that constantly accompany me on my aluminum equipment, does not exist here! The slight elasticity of the plastic used (no rubber!) Brings here quite advantages! As I said ... at least since the small crash I am very happy with the material and I live "fearless", if one may say so :) Took me Asus Transformer TF300T at the lack of torsional stiffness disturbed (knarz knarz ...) so I can report from AT300SE only positive. Only the slapping sound of the component shelf could be better ... here pursuit would possibly help but inside in everyday life you realize it basically nothing. Only if you rumtrommelt just aware :)

Wireless links:
Another advantage of dispensing with metal is that the connection quality is not affected by electro-magnetically responsive material. WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS function perfectly! Invites you to shut corresponding maps you can use the tablet for offline navigation. Per tethering you can easily use a smartphone as an Internet hotspot. Also works for me knotless! The iPad4 without UMTS has the way of my knowledge, no GPS! Otherwise GPS is from 300 euros upwards Standard! The Odys Noon (about 250 euros) has also no GPS

Battery:
With my brightness setting of about 10% of the battery lasts endless !!! I am more than satisfied! Even with brightness 30% to get to loose to the specified 10 hours service life with surfing, watching movies, MP3 download on Amazon, listening to music and lots more! Just to play I do not use it :) Overall, I really feel that Toshiba be extremely persistent.

Other:
The speakers were compared to the previous model slightly improved. There are also stereo Lausprecher as before, which are not mounted on the back but on the lower edge (see product photos)! Here most tablets offer less (often only one speaker on the back). I find the speakers for such narrow device (10.5 mm thickness) really good and enough for movies. But generally I prefer anyway headphones because I very great importance to sound - lege - especially in music. The micro USB port is used for charging and data exchange, which I much prefer than a proprietary "Monster plug", such as Samsung's Galaxy Tab with 2 or its predecessor AT300. In addition, can be a result and the same cable for multiple devices use (eg for vacation trips very convenient!). The Micro SD card slot allows memory expansion on alleged (incredible) 2 terabytes - ie 2000GB - to! It says so on the Toshiba Page (link, see above) ... if that is the case I can not confirm, especially as the flash memory card price rise to the extreme upward :) As soon as I was able to test 32 or 64 GB, there is an addendum ! A micro HDMI or HDMI output, there is no longer the rest. This I think, however, also totally unnecessary when you have a Wi-Fi / LAN enabled TV. My LE40C650 from Samsung (wireless ready) with HAMA MIMO Stick works perfectly together with the Toshiba. Thus, music and movies can be played easily via DLNA Verbdingung on TV. If both devices are logged in WLAN finds the tablet to TV easily and shows him in the Android player with the selection for the track playback. That works very easy :) There is also a Android App for Samsung TV, with which you can use the tablet as a remote control. Thus, the Youtube app lets nice looking keyboard for songs etc. The comfort increase over the normal remote control is gigantic!

All in all I give my strong buy recommendation and feel the Tablet as a really wonderful litter! Technically knotless, extremely attractive and excellent processed! What more do you want? :)

PS: Android 4.1 Jellybean is really great and also the Flash player you can still receive nor chip.de! Unfortunately, this works for me only with the Android browser and not with Chrome! This even as the last tip :)

Addendum 17.01.2013: If anyone wants from a central location (eg desktop PC) stream ... using the software TVersity can make the good and simple. While the program operates under circumstances very resource intensive (as formats if necessary "on the fly" converted to an appropriate format for the tablet) but it also very reliable! In pre-installed Android Media Player one then the streaming host (eg desktop PC) appears at the bottom left of other network-connected devices. Click and Zack can his movies and music throughout the house bring on Tablet :) fast forward, jump to a desired location, or even the start of movies / songs is virtually no delay! Who has a NAS server will probably have similar experiences. However, I have no such, and can therefore give no information to :)

Addendum 27.01.2013: For completeness, we should mention that the camera is not the best. That's for me but more than subordinated criterion, why does not change my personal rating. For snapshots, you can see and otherwise I take anyway my digicam :) The Tablet amazes me still in terms of robustness. The tablet has been shown to be extremely suitable for everyday use!
