Existing feature that was not buying decision but:
Media can be played via USB. So your old DVD player was additionally saves (and the associated cable clutter) and they can play in the future, the latest videos of the little granddaughter (the state of the art) of a USB flash drive. A recording function via USB does not exist.
Design and Setting:
Under the watchful eyes of my (grateful) mother I could assemble instructions to stand without even looking at the (abysmal). The (surprisingly light) appliance installed, satellite and power cord plugged in and turned tense. When you first install one is menu-guided through the most important settings (source DVB-T, DVB-C or DVB-S - Location - Language - Favourite channels scanning, SD or HD, etc.) out. The whole process takes less than two minutes and the TV is ready ... were it not for the channel sorting. As with (really) any device to sort the main channel list is a long and tedious task. A favorites list could create the possibility of the device and I did not use (they explain times her elderly mother that they should use the Favorites list and why the channel number in the jumps of several hundred channels have). Important it was the desired channels nicely in series with consecutive channel number to have. That took some time, but at least provides the channel editor of Samsung a copy, move and paste. Of this I can with my Phillips, in which you can swap channels only against each other, can only dream of.
The picture was actually already in the factory settings very well, but did well in the preset setting 'Of course,' even better.
A fine tuning of the settings (which can be determined to tease out even more) I'll make the next visit.
