I wanted to replace my ipod 8 years because the battery is HS. In fact I use this Ipod to play drums (instrument) because I am the "cover drum", ie, I play acoustic drums to the music they had none. So I need a player with headphones covering that insulates and strong battery sound but also a reader with sufficient volume. I bought an Archos player but the level cap was too low as many players. I also had a previous generation Ipod Nano that had the same problem. This latest generation is fine but not its price.
So it is perfect sandisk because it has a great sound quality, and if I configure the drive as "north america" and then in French, I have the right sound level (but be careful not to put too high because otherwise it ' is exploding ears). Good ergonomics is only simplistic but hey, for those who do not wish to zap the music is really perfect and no need for these dear readers.
