For the free reception of digital television in the cable XORO HRK 7550 is ideally suited. The picture and sound quality via the HDMI output is great, and even the non-HD channels look much better and detailed than the analog television on cable television. The HD channels (We currently list 6 stations for free with Kabel BW) are razor sharp. The menus are well structured, and the setting is very easy. I especially like the recording or TimeShift function by just a USB stick is connected with sufficient free space on the device. The recording quality is very good, and the operation is very simple. The Xoro is also a full-fledged media player that photos, music and video files from USB happening.
No 5 star there because of a few small problems of the system: - From time to time it happens that sound and picture are not quite in sync. A change of the transmitter resolves the issue. - When Media Player Xoro is a bit slow and the navigation is an ordeal. - The German-language instruction is very good, but does not describe all of the functions (as missing, for example the two games, Sudoku and Othello, but also does not make much fun as the graphical representation of Sudoku is confusing, and the computer opponents in Othello for me just way too much play)
