"News from Job" is an honest record. Finally Extrabreit sounds in players so well, but they all live. In elaborate orchestration was almost completely omitted. Here you get pure power on the ears.
The production is wonderfully powerful without muddying the sound. The lyrics are again subtle to thoughtful of winking. The guitar work is terrific. "Friday Night" is a single building of guitars.
Extrabreit has set new standards with "New of Job". The album starts with 3 songs at a stretch each of which has single qualities. "12 seconds", "noise" and "Andreas Baader's sunglasses" remain immediately hang in your ears and leave you wanting more. "Noise" is the single (from 11:04:08). Unfortunately, just as a download-only or as a one-track over die-breiten.de merchandising.
"King of Fear" is probably "The President is dead" of the new millennium. I thought of the classics once.
Who Extrabreit like the will inspire this album. Who German Punk'n'Roll like Extrabreit will discover for themselves.
My other favorites; "Dancing" (crying out for movement), "Osama Bin Laden" (wonderful), "war children" (melancholy), "Friday Night" (Vision detention), "Anne Marie's Baby" (a reference to itself) and the bouncer "Crazy World " (just beautiful!).
Who will be versed in the extra-wide History appreciate the many references and quotes from the extra wide cosmos.
"News from Job" is terrific - I look forward uncontrollably on this album
