Sketchbook II: Watching The Sons (MP3 Download)

Customer Review

Almost 1.5 years after the first Sketchbook work the King shall, after seeking and delighted us with his own interpretations of well known metal and rock classics. The whole takes place in his own style, in contrast to the first "Sketchbook" album and "Ski King Uncaged" country-dominant is. Are the other two albums classics like "Highway To Hell" or "Breaking the Law" very rocky, almost like the original, interpreted, can songs like "Warriors of the World", "Overkill" or "The Ace of Spades" "Version Johnny Cash - Alan - Jackson - - Ski Kings Country Trash" be enjoyed. (For the description of the King's style, there is hardly appropriate words. He should easily have heard)
This music style runs through the whole plate and is finished off with a certain grain of irony. So my title as "Amigos Para Siempre" or have conjured up the odd smile on your face "on a long trip."
The whole album gives me the impression that it would have occurred under the stars of the Sons of Anarchy. Whereupon also the one hand the title "Watching the Sons" and the first song indicate. The reference to the Outlaws can be found throughout the album and completes the mood, which is generated while listening, very well.
The King manages to kidnap me for years with his albums in a different time. The music is honest and produced with great attention. Let's hope that this exceptional artist yet produced many more albums of this quality. There are some artists who should take the passion of ski King to heart!
