The bracket is very nice stable. I've been longer without problems in use. Sunshine on the windshield is most problematic because the small vacuum in the suction cup then disappears and the holder falling. After I had taken off the mount for a workshop date and then re-attached, it has fallen in the sunshine - I could intercept the device just before it fell to the stick shift. Whether the rubber is tired?
