After I now have had enough of compact CD radio, which to say goodbye the CD drive after a short time, I appreciate the advantages of USB ports and Line-In or Aux ports gelernt.Und so I was quite quickly realized that my next radio will have no CD drive more, but a USB port and a line-in or AUX jack. And I also DAB + and internet radio were important.
After intensive research on the Internet, I then finally had two units on the shortlist. I have finally decided for the HAMA because here the combination has voted optics and equipment. Initially, some reviews have me here irritated because specified, the device would not have a USB port and the sound was so bad ...
In fact, there seem to be two versions of the device. My radio has certainly a USB port and the corresponding remote control. On the HAMA website also two different manuals offered on this radio, which is one of the compatible too with USB and one for the version without USB.
As for the sound, I have to say that this absolutely is okay. The radio has plenty of power and the sound settings can be changed on preset profiles. Manual settings are also possible (bass, treble and loudness). So in my view, all is well.
The device itself is very nobly. The housing is made of wood and the front panel is chic, brushed aluminum (look).
From the technical resources to me the radio provides exactly what I wanted:
* USB Port
* AUX-In for connecting an MP3 player or smartphone
* DAB +
* FM
* Internet Radio
* Wireless and network play
All of these features work perfectly and to my complete satisfaction. About an appropriate app for the smartphone, the device can even remotely control.
The first device is quite fast. After about 10 minutes it was set up (language, time zone, Wi-Fi) and the first software update has been loaded. After another 5 minutes, all preparatory work was completed and the device is ready for testing. The display shows all the necessary information and intuitively through the menus.
In my humble opinion is the radio at this price and with this equipment a great deal, in which you can not go wrong. I think I'll still have a lot of fun on this radio.
