I bought the Zeppelin, as I have explained myself more intensively with the company and found the "Made in Germany" aspect, coupled with price-conscious design interesting. The company positions itself as dt. Alternative to Japanese and Korean watches in the price segment, which also higher priced watches in the product portfolio are available.
The clock is characterized by its large clock face and body and the timeless design. The clock is striking. It comes with a black leather strap and a metal fastener. The leather is very stiff at the beginning, and only has to be entered (2-3 days). This is slightly uncomfortable, because the clock is not as usual on the wrist. This I would not describe as unusual and particularly disturbing.
Construction of the dial:
In my opinion, a very beautiful and harmonic structure. The arrangement is very intuitive and as already mentioned timeless, this does not "futuristic". 3 small dials are incorporated. The left / upper and lower dial are intent for the built-Stop function and the right / top of the seconds. Furthermore, a small date display is installed, which acts discreetly and also because is where it should be.
Appearance:
The housing is occupied by a thick glass and shiny three connectors on the right side of the clock. Upon oblique attitude the thick glass has a slight magnifying effect, ie the edge of the dial is enlarged, which is used to, but the appearance is not a disadvantage. The white dial, black leather strap, the shiny metal and the beautiful font of the numbers are just terrific. I was approached several times on the clock. Simply making a much higher quality feel than the price suggests. While this was not my main intention why I decided for this clock, but is a nice side effect.
Performance:
It concerns with the clock at any Swiss Präzesionsarbeit, but a very good and solid workmanship. Those who expect to be able to come up with a performance of a 5000 clock, which was to buy a 5000. After being manually set the clock in my case had a deviation of about 3 seconds per month. For me, this is acceptable. In addition, the second hand of the stopwatch is not (remains at 58 sec. Stand) jumps from time to time to the starting position after one wants to reset the stop watch, but this does not always occur, and no reason to return to me the clock.
Conclusion:
A great clock that makes a good figure on any stage and delivers a good performance for the price. The watch connoisseurs can untie with this clock no bears, but "normal" audience appreciates this clock far from a more expensive than it is in reality. In addition, it is well made and has not yet let me down.
