The presentation and preparation of original and fake differ at first glance: The original has a circular quality cardboard box, the Fake a cheap, warped, square cardboard box with no logo, but with glue residue and oblique edges. When Fake course also lacks the description and the certificate. Even the candle itself are the differences not overseeable: The original is in silver (or silver), all of a piece, with a smooth surface without bubbles and everywhere with rounded edges, no sharp corners where you might stumble or hurt. Also inside the original is in silver, the outer edge is filled with real, beautiful glittering and reflective stones. On the underside of the original has a gray felt mat (so that the candle does not slip and does not scratch the table, also the Swarovski swan and the C (copyright symbol) engraved).
The fake tea light everywhere has sharp edges and is so poorly made that the inner rim where purely represents the candle right nicks and rashes has, where you can injure your fingers. The fake is not made of one piece and the interior is not silvery, but dull gray low metal. The whole candle looks totally cheap, has arrived already scratched. The crystals on the edge effect matt, yellowish and not glisten like the original. On the bottom is the Fake no felt covering, and the swan logo or copyright missing.
I am very disappointed, I have paid a total of EUR 186.00 for the four "fakes" - a lot of money! Furthermore, the scammers company Diamond Affair has ripped off me and, believe it or demanded 70 euros postage! Although all Teelichthalter were sent at a time (and not separately) and were not even properly packaged. The candles were meant as a Christmas present for my daughter. I am angry mad that one is drawn on the one hand, the customer, so over the table, and on the other hand the good name and reputation of Swarovski for such fakes is abused. I am for many years a fan of the great Swarovski Articles, but such a disappointment I've never experienced!
I was with these cheap fake tea light holders also with us in the city in the official Swarovski store and there you have me orally and in writing confirmed that these are cheap, illegal counterfeit goods.
I bought the tea light holders on 25 October 2014 and until today (01/22/2015), so much as three months later, I'm still waiting for that Diamond Affair finally withdraws plagiarism! 15 emails have Amazon and I already wrote that remained either unanswered or were answered with unintelligible Google German gibberish, without going into the questions.
HANDS OFF!
I can only hope that Amazon this impostor finally put a stop advancing and that Diamond Affair can not sell more items at Amazon Marketplace. The ruined finally not only the reputation and good name of Swarovski, but also reflects badly on Amazon.
