The unit comes packed in a simple yet functional box. Included is itself a charging cable and a manual except the spare battery. The charging cable is nicely designed as a flat cable, making it less easily comes to clutter. The multilingual manual is short and sweet, but describes everything important and is written in good German (unfortunately not longer taken for granted in times automatic translator ...).
The spare battery makes a good impression and robust processed. The housing is matt black (slightly rubberized) and has a pretty elegant shape. At one end sits the charging port and the USB port, the sides a little button and four blue LEDs to indicate the state of charge and at the other end with the LED reflector. Why do you need a lamp with UV light, is still not entirely clear to me but it is a fun gimmick and finally there is a battery pack and no flashlight. ;-)
Unlike some other devices charging a connected device through a single press of the button has to be started. But then it works as easily as expected, the four LEDs on the spare battery (which are not turned off are visible) show the remaining charge. When charging is completed, the RAVPower Luster automatic goes back to an idle state.
All in all I am very satisfied with the device. It will probably be a daily companion in a backpack or jacket pocket.
Further, because already a lot of very good photos below to find, I will confine myself here to two additional. The first shows the device in the box, the second is an attempt to reflect the light ...
