This camcorder is made for the hand, can therefore also keep wonderfully longer without being uncomfortable, perhaps apart from sweating on plastic. Too many buttons there are not just one for the opening of the lens (not automatic!), A record button, the zoom and the button for photos. In order to get quickly master even without a lot of practice, the simple operation via the relatively small display does her (no touch screen, operation via mini joystick next to the screen).
The first recordings delight with fast focusing and zoom brisk, but led to rapid pans easier formation of small blocks to the contours - may have been on the memory card (32 GB Sony). The camera takes cards up to 64 GB on, runtime then just over 2 hours.
Otherwise, the films of impressive quality and sharpness, especially no noise from the auto focus and the zoom are ever heard. This also applies to low-light scenes that get relatively little noise. An extra praise goes to the Anti-shake automatic, since the technology is now well advanced.
Individual photos can even shoot during Videofilmens! An external microphone can not be connected, but the quality offered the built-in microphone is, depending on the distance, quite well. For sound, there are unfortunately no zoom on the device.
The software (Sony PlayMemories and WiFi) I have not tested since they can not run under Windows XP and Vista requires at least.
Overall a nice device for amateur filmmakers who want to see quality results without having professional standards.
Supplements WiFi is not possible with this device. Although the free software Sony PlayMemories requires Windows Vista as a minimum requirement, but could be with me but do not install and broke up with error message. But at least the unit of Vista is detected and movies / photos can be transferred easily.
