1) Delivery: quick and easy (even faster than indicated)
2) Start-up: The processing and the materials do a very good, robust impression. Nozzle change, drain and filter on / expansion works depp safely and quickly without the hassle of fumbling. Everything fits, and has no air. According to instructions of the battery should be charged 16 hours the first time, but after 8h he was already full and the charger has finished charging. The unit heats up during operation, and be in new condition while the typical smell of new electrical equipment grade "cable fire light" from. After 10 uses no odor was noticeable.
3) Ergonomics: The unit fits comfortably in your hand, with measured 930g on the kitchen scale it is even lighter than 70g lt Operating Instructions.. By design, the center of gravity is far forward and the suction thus feels a bit top-heavy. However, only "dry firing", in practical use, the nozzle is almost always the suction touched anyway suggesting the heaviness disappear.
4) Noise: Subjectively, the noise is moderate and slightly disturbing. But I wanted to know for sure and have measured (ie with the same 2 measurement methods!) A level meter showed at 50cm spacing ear / device (equivalent to the practice of using) 74dB / A, adjacent to the appliance 82 dB / A ( Fully charged, empty the collecting vessel and the stronger the 2 available power levels). Out of interest I have also our big Nilfisk (a rather expensive luxury-class device) measured and lo and behold - surprise! Subjectively the Great is louder. But that instrument is of a different opinion: 71 dB / A at ear level and 78 db / A directly to the device! 1: 0 for Nilfisk. But one must not lose sight measurement method 2. If the Nilfisk enabled disappear all the cats in the farthest corner of the house, the Philips nothing happens like as long as you comply with 1m minimum distance from the exchange tigers. Compensation Phillips, 1: 1 final score in the sound rating.
5) Suction power: Whether at home or in the car, the suction power is sufficient. Small stones in the footwell of the citizens cage inhaled the suckers just like cat hair in the house. Also in the garden was so far not an insurmountable obstacle to the suction force. You can, however, noticeably when the battery is drained to about 70%, or even if the dirt container / filter has not been cleaned.
6) Battery: The only criticism is the reason for preventing the 5th star. A glance at the stopwatch showed namely that the battery with more than 12 minutes, "survived" almost 4 minutes longer than Philips indicates, but the charging time is too long afterwards. Full seven hours need it until the battery is completely full again. Who uses the instrument towards the end of battery life and not be ready in time may be looking for the next 7 hours for another job. However: Already after 30 minutes the cleaner can again take for about 2 minutes in operation. Thanks to lithium-ion technology harms such an approach is not the battery.
Summary: For my part, there is an almost unlimited buying recommendation to prospective and Philips commissioned to halve loading times at least.
