Hardly beatable price / performance ratio

I have the Archos 101 ordered with the 1.5GHz processor as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 I was too expensive. After some headaches I got but then jitters because the quality of the Archos has often been criticized, as well as the instability, energy consumption etc. and so I ordered still the Galaxy Tab.

In direct comparison, however, it quickly became clear that the Galaxy in terms of performance, with the Archos simply can not keep up. Internet in a lot of advertising or Flash or Java often hackelig.

- Archos has much less codec problems. At the Galaxy had to partially download the video first and then open it with NEM Player.
- The 1.5 GHz Archos (Turbo) making among others while surfing in comparison to the Galaxy noticeable (even with waste heat) :-)

If you want a very stylish and technically advanced material tablet, only to retrieve mail and read news, should pick up the (very expensive) Galaxy Tab on which you then can change but nothing more.
Those looking for a hardware technology updates tablet that has to serve as a desktop replacement, data exchange (SD slot), multimedia, video and a few simple games, and the active Internet browsing with Flash and Java and advertising that comes price / Leistungstechnisch Archos is not over! I was convinced the Archos after a short time. And then at the price. I'm at least excited is even if it's from unsightly plastic (yet) :) PS: Samsung now installed just the hardware in the tablet 2, the Archos has long been there. However, Samsung has only the 1.0 dual core again and save the good, rear camera. :-P
