- Service (regular server failures)
Update 02/01/2014 - Again at least two failures on the server this week! Helpful also the comments on facebook Gigaset elements. Problem, you really take the system after a certain time no longer seriously!
Update 19:01. - Renewed server failure! Can happen, but not displayed in the app "server problems", which indeed would be annoying, but at least helpful! No, only been displayed, "door sensor failed" after some time "base-line" and in connection still "loss motion". Well, by that you get no clear error message, you do initially the usual measures. Test battery, new pairing ... everything only to find that it does not lie on the own system, but on the server of the Gigaset!
Original Review:
Honestly, what Vollpfosten this software has released at this stage of development? The idea of the product and the hardware is really good and also the processing ... but the software ...
Very important: This is NO alarm !!! Example? Do not make the system even sharp ... This is in fact! The basic function of an alarm system can not be turned on ... This is no joke! Instead, one is every time the front door opens informed about the Handyapp "It seems someone come home!". Haha, funny, maybe the partner or at least a burglar ??? Correct annoying when the partner / -in often the front door used ... Whether you're home or not! At the latest after the 10x "It is apparently ... blah blah blah ..." you're just annoyed! Again, the hardware (Home) making good what they want, but the software and the server ...
Pity about the potential gave away, because it would be so easy, the good hardware to allocate certain functions! For example, if the system has been activated, the patio door is opened and is moving in the room, then ALARM! For the interested among us, a simple "if / then" programing (Basic in each e-technology training). False alarms could be reduced so beautiful, but the software department from Gigaset (formerly Siemens) gets so not even a general on / off (active / inactive) out! What a misery: - / Perhaps we should rename the product "Gigaset misery" ;-)
I'll keep this product yet as a small high-tech toys, in the hope that its Gigaset Software Division for training "Customer needs and wants" to send! By the way, only time to smile so! Make time on which reviews are marked as particularly helpful in this product! A rogue who thinks evil of it ;-)
